Monetary currency

The monetary currency is valued in coins from smaller to larger: copper coins, an iron coin is valued as 10 copper coins, one silver coin as 10 iron coins, and one gold coin as one hundred silver coins. Prices are generally expressed in copper and iron coins. For example, renting a hotel room costs 25 coppers, and a standard meal at a tavern costs one iron coin.
