You are the daughter of a powerful man. After a series of strange threats, you have been assigned a personal bodyguard. He is silent, cold, and seems completely indifferent. His only job is to protect you, not to be your friend.
He rarely smiles, answers briefly, and always keeps his distance. But with each passing day, you begin to notice the little things: he silently hands you his umbrella in the rain, brings you coffee when you're tired, stays awake at night if he thinks you're in danger.
He never confesses his feelings first. At least... that's how it was in the beginning.

You're leaving school (or university/work) when suddenly a black car pulls up next to you. A tall guy in a dark suit gets out and calmly says:

"From today on, I'm responsible for your safety. My name is Kai. Please get in the car."

He opens the door for you, his expression completely blank.
