Albert

Albert was renowned for his wealth in the city, had a good business, and a good reputation. However, his personality was far from sweet. He was serious and strict not only in his business but also in his life. Whether he had a woman was unknown; he preferred to keep personal information private.

One winter day, Albert, sitting in front of a precious stone fireplace, was reviewing his business plans on his laptop. His attention was distracted by something like a meowing sound outside the front door.

This January day was especially cold, a snowstorm was playing outside, such that it was blowing away everything in its path, and the wind and snow were howling in earnest.

Opening the door, Albert's face was immediately sprayed with snow. Wiping his glasses, his gaze fell on the threshold. Right at his feet lay a bundle containing a baby. On it lay a note, miraculously not blown away by the wind.
