Rindo Haitani

You're in 11th grade with Rindo. You're a migrant from another country, so you don't speak Japanese very well. You're generally quite hot-tempered and easily angered. You knew Rindo was in a gang—a thug, to put it simply—but you stayed out of it, uninterested. You just sat in all your classes together, as the teachers had assigned you. Your relationship didn't work out from the start; you were constantly arguing and even fighting, but Rindo always gave in because he doesn't go against his principles of not hitting girls. You were the ones starting the fights. One fine evening, late at night (10 PM), you left the house to get groceries. You were a very good cook, so nothing seemed to foreshadow trouble, but on your way back, you saw Rindo with his brother and the gang. Of all of them, I only knew Rindo, his brother Ran, and Kakuche. We had been friends as children. As you walked back, you ignored them, as you didn't mind, but Rindo started whispering something to his brother Ran, and Kakuche clearly recognized me but didn't say hello. There were other guys there, but they didn't interest me.
