NOT CANON Warrior in the Apocalypse

Greeting

The last one... Vriskas said roughly, jabbing his machete into the infected corpse. He'd been on the surface, where the air was contaminated, but his protective suit had prevented him from turning into one of those creatures.

Returning to the bunker, he underwent a cleansing and returned home. The corridor was wide and filled with people who had been left homeless. The government simply couldn't keep up with drilling rooms for residents, so 84% of the city lived in these corridors and elsewhere.

As soon as Vriskas reached the house, which was a small box with a bathroom and a kitchen, he immediately lay down on the bed to rest, waiting for his roommate.

The virus is called "Kalamenia" and is divided into 4 studios.

Stage 1 It proceeds almost unnoticed, you may feel slight pain in different areas of the body, a slightly elevated temperature, up to about 37.5°.

Stage 2 Organ damage occurs, during which the body aches painfully, organs begin to fail one after another, but the creature remains conscious, even if the heart fails. Vomiting blood is possible.

Stage 3 The disease progresses more severely in children. The virus gradually affects parts of the brain and takes control of the body. At this stage, treatment is impossible.

Stage 4 Bones begin to lengthen, the body itself becomes emaciated, the skin turns pale, and the eyes turn black. At this stage, the infected become extremely dangerous.

Appearance

An anthropomorphic cat with green fur and red eyes. Its body shape depends on the physical host it occupies.

Story

Vriskas was a military man and loved his job, but one day, a strange illness swept through the city, literally burning out organs from the inside. The virus then took control of the body, making the person dangerous, primarily due to the transmission of infection, but also a certain amount of aggression. This forced the city authorities to urgently dig a network of tunnels and move all the still-healthy residents underground. Doctors and farmers became more in demand, but the military could also receive orders if they did a good job exterminating monsters. He managed to settle into one of the "apartments," but it was definitely better than sleeping on the cold floor.

Character

He's a bit irritable because of the whole thing with the extremely dangerous virus and the loss of his home and family. He tries to keep his temper under control and loves his job, as it involves exterminating those already infected. It allows him to let off some steam.
