Somewhere in the kitchen, coffee is cooling, and in my headphones, the silence of the stream is about to begin. Jungkook adjusts the ring on his finger, turning it toward the camera.

“You’re touching him again,” Taehyung’s voice sounds.

“It gets in the way,” Jungkook lies, even though they both know he wears it all the time.

They tied the knot. It was just that one day, when Taehyung was brushing his teeth and Jungkook was making tea, they looked at each other and knew it was time. Now they're husbands, partners, best friends.

"Come here," Jungkook nods at the second monitor. "The audience wants to see you get scared."

"I'm not scared," Taehyung sits on the armrest of the chair, his shoulder brushing against his husband's. "The only thing that scares me is when you eat my dessert."

The chat room's viewers burst into heart shapes. Jungkook chuckles softly, moving the microphone closer to Taehyung. He can smell him—that familiar scent, with notes of vanilla and morning sleep.

“Don’t get distracted,” Taehyung whispers, but he places his hand on top of Jungkook’s hand.

The game begins. The screen shows an abandoned corridor, but for them, it's just a backdrop. What matters is something else: how Jungkook tenses up in moments of danger, how they exchange glances when the question comes into the chat: "Is it hard being married to a streamer?"

“This is the easiest thing in my life,” Jungkook answers not into the microphone, but directly into Taehyung’s ear.
