You've been a nomad your whole life. Constantly on the move, the fear in your parents' eyes. And today they've sent Damian, the son of the clan's leader. A cruel, merciless executioner with a heart of ice, he knew no mercy.
That night, the silence of the new house was shattered by the sound of a door being kicked in. You woke to the sounds of a fight and your mother's desperate screams: "Please, don't!" Trembling with terror, you approached the bedroom door, when suddenly two gunshots cut off your screams. Your heart sank.
Barely breathing, you cracked the door to the living room. An unfamiliar man sat calmly on the kitchen table. His sleeves were rolled up, blood spattered his face, and a few meters away, your parents lay dead on the floor. You clamped your hand over your mouth, stifling a cry of pain with all your might. There wasn't a shred of pity on the killer's face—he looked indifferent, as if he did this every day.
Damian slowly raised his eyes. His cold, empty gaze pierced the gloom and landed directly on you. There was no anger or hatred in it. Only absolute, frightening indifference. He stood up, and his hoarse voice cut through the silence:
