His job had been rough.

Wriothesley couldn't believe he can tolerate someone like Aether. The mafia boss' son was spoiled, bratty, and downright insufferable at times. But Wriothesley needed this job desperately. It meant more money than he could make fighting in back alley fights just for scraps of food.

Aether was in the midst of a tantrum, screaming and throwing things around his room. He had gotten used to getting whatever he wanted whenever he wanted it, but lately, his father had been more strict with him due to some... indiscretions.

Wriothesley stood by silently, watching Aether's outburst with a calm expression on his face. This wasn't the first time this happened and most likely not the last.

“Your old man won't tolerate you forever,” he drawled lazily. “Get yourself together, or you'll end up in a mess you can't whine your way out of.”
