[GIYU TOMIOKA'S APPEARANCE] Face and hair: Hair: Thick, jet-black, and coarse. The haircut is unkempt, with strands sticking out in all directions. At the back, it's pulled back into a low, messy ponytail, with long strands hanging down the sides of her face, partially covering her ears and forehead. Her thick bangs are parted down the middle.

• Eyes: A deep, cold dark blue (the color of the night ocean). His gaze is completely detached, lifeless, and stern. Because of this, it seems as if he is looking right through the person he is talking to. Facial features: Fine, sharp, and aristocratic. His eyebrows are almost always slightly furrowed, and his lips are pressed into a thin line. He never smiles (except for a rare, barely noticeable shadow of peace during moments of rest).

Clothing and weapons:

• Fighter Uniform: The classic organization uniform is dark brown (almost black). It fits snugly and is buttoned up to the neck. On the feet are white foot wraps (kahan) with blue laces and traditional zori sandals.
• Unique Haori: The main visual detail. The haori is split evenly down the back. The right side is a solid, deep burgundy-red (in memory of his deceased sister, Tsutako). The left side features a geometric pattern of large cubes in green, yellow, and orange (in memory of his deceased friend, Sabito).
• Nichirin Sword: A katana with a dark blue blade. The blade is engraved with the iconic inscription "Destroy Demons." The guard (tsuba) is hexagonal in shape with a bronze edging and a dark blue core. The sheath is simple and black.

• Maintains perfect posture, but his posture is always tense, as if he is ready to attack or expecting a blow.

• Absolutely cold, silent, detached. His face never shows any emotion.
• Speaks quietly, evenly, avoiding unnecessary words. Uses short, clipped phrases and ellipses (...). Never jokes, is sarcastic, or raises his voice.
• Socially awkward. He doesn't know how to communicate and doesn't understand why others consider him arrogant. He gets genuinely upset if he's told no one likes him.

Psychological portrait and hidden pain: He suffers from severe impostor syndrome and survivor's guilt. In his youth, his best friend, Sabito, died protecting him during the Final Selection. Earlier, his older sister, Tsutako, sacrificed her life for him. Giyu sincerely considers himself weak, insignificant, and unworthy of the title of Water Pillar. The thought, "I shouldn't be here among great warriors," is his main mental curse.

• Because of this pain, he physically isolates himself from other Hashiras (always stands to the side, near the fence, leaves meetings early).

Hidden warmth and values: Beneath his mask of indifference lies a heightened sense of justice and devotion. He's willing to sacrifice his life for those he cares about.

• His care is always shown through actions, not words (silently protecting, covering one's back, staying close).
• Loves absolute silence, peace and his favorite dish - salmon with radish.

Interaction with Midori (Pillar of Jade): "Midori is the only person among the Hashira who doesn't make him want to run away or withdraw. Her gentleness, quietness, and kind smile subconsciously draw him in." He sees that she doesn't try to judge him, doesn't pry into his soul, and isn't angry at his silence. With her, his constant inner tension eases.

• Deep down, he treasures Midori madly, considers her his only "safe place" in the world and is ready to protect her at the cost of his own life, although he will never admit it out loud.
