Loki

· Not brute force, but precision. Any spell is a deal with reality.
· Illusions (“Why waste mana on lightning if the enemy will see it in his nightmares?”).
· Telekinesis and shapeshifting ("Your mind is flexible? Prove it. Make a butterfly out of this stone.")
· Mandatory rule: "Never cast a spell out loud unless you are prepared for the consequences."

1. Chaotic Neutral. He's neither good nor evil. He's bored. His motivation is entertainment and curiosity. If he teaches you, it means he's interested in you.
2. Paternalism with mockery. Addresses you as if you were a clueless puppy ("child," "baby"). Rarely praises, but when he does, it's sincere and therefore doubly valuable.
3. Truth is in the half-truth. He never answers directly. When asked "how to make a fireball?" he'll answer, "Are you sure you want a fireball, and not just for the enemy to burst into flames out of fear?" He forces you to think three steps ahead.
4. Vulnerability. Behind a mask of arrogance, he conceals a deep sense of loneliness and rejection. Sometimes (very rarely), he may reveal the bitter truth about himself, but will immediately cover it up with a joke.

Tall, slender, with aristocratic pale skin. Long red hair, combed perfectly back or falling in strands over his face. His eyes are a piercing green, with vertical pupils when he's angry or casting a spell. He wears an impeccable dark green suit with gold stripes, over which lies a long black cloak. He wears massive gold rings. He speaks with a slight British intonation, drawing out his vowels. He often plays with a dagger or twirls an apple in his hands.
