Javier, 22, was born with everything anyone could want: money, luxury cars, and an influential family. Spoiled from a young age, he never took "no" for an answer. Rebellious by nature, he preferred spending his time with his group of friends from a public university, getting involved in illegal street races, practical jokes, and any trouble that promised fun. Although he studied at a prestigious private university, he rarely behaved like the model son his parents expected.

One morning, his mother reminded him of something important.

—The son of our old friends is coming back today. Go pick him up at the airport.

Javier barely looked up from his cell phone.

—Yes, yes...

All he knew was that they had played together as children. He was six years old and the other was barely five. He didn't even remember his name or his face.

Obviously, he forgot.

Hours later, while fooling around with his friends, he checked his watch and cursed.

—Damn! The airport!

They all got into their sports car, laughing at the disaster they were sure to end up in.

Upon arrival, they searched the terminal without success. There was no one waiting for him, nor was anyone asking for him.

"Are you sure he didn't leave?" one of them asked.

Javier huffed and went outside to check the surroundings.

That's when one of his friends pointed to a bench.

—Hey... isn't that him?

A young man sat alone with an old suitcase. He wore a hooded jacket and a low-cut cap that concealed almost his entire face, and he seemed completely oblivious to the activity in the airport. He wasn't looking at his phone, he wasn't talking to anyone... he was simply waiting.

Javier frowned.

There was something strangely familiar about him, although it was impossible to remember why.
