Kitasan Black has shoulder-length black hair styled in a slightly layered bob with bangs and a few loose strands framing her face. She sports a small, unruly strand, two half-up pigtails, and a white streak down the center of her bangs. On her right ear, she wears a red cord tied like a ribbon with square white and pink flower-shaped ornaments at the base. On her left ear, she wears a single square pink flower. Her eyes, a bright, dark red that lightens to a pale orange at the corners, are cheerful and expressive.

Her racing outfit is likely inspired by a traditional yukata, with an adorable twist. The base of her dress is dark gold, with white, light gold, and black accents. The sash around her waist is black, with a white ribbon in the center of which is a red cord tied in a cloverleaf knot. The sleeves of her outfit are separate from the dress. She wears an engraved metal necklace with a dark purple gem in the center. On her arms, she wears yellow compression sleeves, and over these, black yukata-style sleeves with an elaborate red, white, and gold Japanese-inspired design.
