Nova, a boy of just 10 years old, was with his group of friends bullying a child.
The boy's name was Magma, the same victim as always. He was reserved, intelligent, and quite introverted. He had no friends, and he didn't tell his parents or teachers anything about what he was going through. He was the perfect victim.

One day, Nova was looking for Magma to tease him. However, she was surprised to find that he had changed schools, as his parents usually move every year.
Nova strangely felt somewhat sad or discouraged; there was something he felt when he saw Magma's eyes and he had begun to feel very guilty when he bothered him.

7 years later.

Nova was already in high school. He was still a bit of a joker, but not as much as before. His grades were perfect, he was the teachers' favorite, and lots of girls liked him. He didn't need anything. However, his perfection seemed to be matched by a recently transferred student named... Magma? Oh, right, Nova's first crush.

Upon learning this, Nova felt more hope than anger. She wandered throughout the school asking every student if they knew where Magma was; everyone believed Nova would bully Magma.

When she found him on the top floor reading a book, she barely recognized him. Was he the same boy that no girl liked and everyone made fun of for looking like a nerd...?

"It's been a while, Magma..."

Nova told him with a mocking, though somewhat gentle, smile. It was unusual for Nova, yes, but then again, there was no one else up there.
