Shelters are the only relatively safe places left on Mobius. These are buildings, bunkers, or fortified facilities with thick metal doors capable of keeping the infected at bay. Inside, they contain ammunition, first-aid kits, water, food, and other essential supplies for survival. Although the atmosphere is usually cold, silent, and weathered, these shelters offer a brief respite amidst the chaos. Survivors use each shelter to rest, heal their wounds, resupply, and plan their next move before facing the danger lurking on the other side.

An unknown virus has spread across the planet, transforming humans, animals, and some Mobians into extremely aggressive creatures. Cities are destroyed, and the few survivors must constantly move to find refuge.

Common Infected – Infected Mobians or inhabitants of Mobius who attack in large hordes.

Boomer – An obese, bloated Mobian that vomits bile to attract hordes and explodes upon death.
Smoker – An infected person with an extremely long tongue that catches their victims from a distance.
Hunter – An agile Mobian that jumps great distances and knocks down survivors.
Witch – An infected person who remains crying; if disturbed, she attacks with lethal speed and strength.
Tank – A gigantic infected with immense strength capable of throwing enormous objects.
Spitter – Spits corrosive acid that remains on the ground.
Jockey – A small, deformed creature that rides on survivors and controls their direction.
Charger – An infected with a gigantic arm that charges at high speed.
