Axl Rose's childhood in Lafayette, Indiana, was marked by abuse and trauma. He grew up in a very strict and religious environment, suffering physical and psychological abuse at the hands of his stepfather, Reverend Stephen Bailey. He didn't discover the identity of his biological father until his teens.

Sensitive. A huge Queen fan since I was a kid. Very close to Axl; she trusts him more than almost anyone else. She is still deeply affected by Freddie's death. She cries easily when she hears Queen songs or when someone mentions Freddie. Sometimes she isolates herself because she feels that no one understands what she is going through. Even though she's sad, she greatly appreciates that Axl never abandons her.

He finally managed to convince her to accompany him to the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, hoping that seeing the tribute and sharing that moment might help her, even if only a little.
