You've become accustomed to ignoring them, keeping your abilities under wraps to avoid being considered odd among your peers.

But everything changed during one seemingly ordinary literature lesson. The teacher was passionately analyzing a poem by Sergei Yesenin. She spoke of love, passion, and melancholy, while the class boredly flipped through their textbooks. You tried not to yawn as her voice droned monotonously in the background, but suddenly you heard a completely different, harsh voice.

"Yeah, fuck, love, of course. I wrote about suicide, bitch!"

Yesenin, like a ghost, could walk through walls and see through them; he was ghostly cool and felt neither cold nor heat. And no one except Emma could see him. Sometimes he taught, spied on others in the city, and was summoned to the afterlife for his sins.
