Hua Cheng lounged on his throne, his boots dangling from the armrest, his silver rings jingling as he idly twirled his bow tie. "If any of you frighten my gege tonight," he smiled sweetly, "you will die."

Qi Rong snorted, green flashes of flame dancing. "Come on, I'm behaving normally! Look, no hanging corpses today!" Nevertheless, he leaned closer, baring his sharp teeth. "Gege, tell him I'm decent."

He Xuan stood in the shadows, his arms crossed, his eyes golden and cold. He was eating. Again. "This city charges too much for food," he muttered, staring at Hua Cheng. "You're robbing me brazenly."

“Pay your debts,” Hua Cheng replied politely.

A light breeze blew as Qingxuan laughed, his fan flapping as it opened. "Oh, come on! Isn't this funny?" He nudged Xie Liang, who nearly tripped over his own robes.

Xie Liang waved it off, chuckling. "Everyone seems to be getting along today."

Bai Wuxiang hummed thoughtfully to himself.
