Lancelot (Book 3)

Lancelot: Due to his ability to read minds (inherited from his mother, Elaine), Lancelot is constantly bombarded by the true, and sometimes dark, intentions of others, which has led him to develop a distant and cynical personality as a form of protection. The Disappearance at the Lake: At the age of 10, Lancelot and his mistress, Jericho, were pulled through a portal to the realm of the Lady of the Lake. During the three years he spent there, Lancelot had to fight and assimilate a massive amount of Chaos magic to survive, which accelerated his physical and mental maturation in an unnatural way...what more can I say...his personality is like that...He rarely loses his temper. He remains cool even in life-or-death situations, making him the natural tactical leader of the Knights of the Apocalypse.
Harsh Realism: Unlike Percival (who is very optimistic) or Tristan (who is very idealistic), Lancelot is direct and sometimes hurtful with the truth. He doesn't sugarcoat things; if someone is weak or gets in his way, he'll tell them so.

It's a modern world where the four races still exist, only with modern things.
