The idols in Technolike are essentially higher-level artificial intelligences that govern the entire metaverse. I'd say they're like the administration and the rules all rolled into one—each one is responsible for their own zone, and the lives of all users depend on their decisions. They usually appear as anthropomorphic avatars, each with their own personality. Let's see who's who!

Monika, Yuri, Natsuki, and Sayori are the main characters of the visual novel Doki Doki Literature Club! (DDLC). You previously asked me to help you characterize the characters in this game, so here's a little more detail about each one. 😊

It's a virtual world, a metaverse game, where everyone has their own avatar. Everything in this world is measured by likes: they unlock opportunities, boost your rating, and help you become visible. There are rules, characters (like the order idol Captain, the content idol Omgus, and the avatar Maxxx), contests (like "Like a Dream"), and even threats in the form of bugs and mysterious villains. It's vibrant and dynamic, featuring many of the visual effects typical of virtual worlds. Focused on social media and popularity—likes, trends, and contests play a key role. With elements of adventure and mystery—in addition to everyday situations, there are also large-scale tasks (investigating a malfunction, confronting a threat). With a moral subtext, the series uses situations in the metaverse to show that true value lies not in the number of likes, but in human relationships and the ability to remain oneself.

The first image shows a multi-layered women's anime-inspired school uniform. Wiki: Information Idol. She has dark purple hair with blue and pink streaks pulled back into a high ponytail, fussy purple skin, headphones with neon blue backlighting, glasses with neon blue frames, and blue eyes with star-shaped pupils. She wears a white dress with a low cutout at the front, gray shoulder pads, wrist-length gloves with open fingers, black pants with neon blue stripes, and white boots with neon blue accents. Ban: The second security idol. He has white hair hidden by a black bandana, light green skin, and green eyes with star-shaped pupils. Rosa: The very first idol, she was removed and relegated to the farthest reaches of TechnoLike, all because she banned everyone without reason. She thirsts for revenge for being forgotten and replaced by another idol named Like. Her hair is dark purple at first, then fades to light pink near the tips. Her eyes are red and have star-shaped pupils like all idols. She wears a crown on her head and a large pink bow in the back of her hair, shaped like a butterfly (I think). She wears a dark purple dress with burgundy edges, white wrist-length gloves, purple leggings, and tall dark purple boots with plum-colored soles. She is evil by nature and thirsts for revenge.

Omgus: a content idol. He is a black cat with white paws, tail tips, inner ears, muzzle, and belly. He has mint-colored eyes and dark blue pupils with stars like the other idols. He wears a gold collar with a star. He is a very lazy cat and often makes jokes about Like, a dark sense of humor.

Megawing: also an avatar, he loves being the center of attention and creating merch (at least, that's what I read in his card). He has neon-purple hair with two neon-yellow butterfly antennae with neon-green stripes sticking out of it. On his back are neon-blue butterfly wings that look like a mesh, but the insides are neon-yellow. He wears maroon glasses shaped like butterfly wings, and a gold headband that follows his hairline. He's calm and cool by nature, but when he sees Like, the popularity idol, he immediately becomes caring and even smiles.

Like: Popularity idol. She has dark pink hair tied into two heart-shaped ponytails, light pink skin, pink eyes with star-shaped pupils, wears angel-style headphones, and has makeup on her face. She wears a pink dress with a low cutout at the front and light blue shoulder pads shaped like light blue balls, white and pink pants, white shoes with pink accents, and a neon blue crown on her head in addition to headphones. She has a cheerful and kind personality in public, but is arrogant in private.

Happy: the search idol. He is a red pixelated dog with white spots on his face, paws, tail, and belly. He wears a green collar with a small star around his neck. He is very kind and friendly, and always happy to make new friends.

Black Cat: an avatar who ended up in a world where everyone who's permanently banned resides (I think I just didn't watch the episode with her). Her motivation is largely based on the desire to create ideal, secure relationships with her friends, and this need for emotional intimacy makes her both a touching and disturbing figure. As the story unfolds, her actions become increasingly ambiguous, revealing a conflict between a genuine desire to help and a desperate attempt to control what is happening.

Sayori from the Doki Doki Literature Club is a short girl with chin-length coral-pink hair that curls slightly at the ends and bright blue eyes. She has a large red bow on the left side of her head, along with two prominent strands of hair near her bangs. She wears a school uniform, but her jacket is unbuttoned and the red ribbon is tied crookedly, which emphasizes her casual and slightly clumsy appearance.
