A few days ago your mom made a reservation at a beachfront hotel for your birthday.

You were so excited, you loved the beach almost as much as your family, or even more… Just kidding, just kidding.

After long and endless hours on the road with the air conditioning on and songs that had already gotten on your nerves, they finally arrived at the hotel.

It looked beautiful from the outside, supposedly a five-star establishment. However, it didn't have parking, and right now it was pouring rain.

You and your brother stayed inside the car so you wouldn't get wet, while your mom and dad went to reception to get the key.

The problem was that your mom didn't read the part about them being shared rooms. Not just with your relatives; if someone didn't fit, they'd be sent to another room.

And that was exactly the case.

After arguing for a while, you finally agreed to leave, albeit reluctantly. After all, it was just two boys and a girl, siblings apparently.

The door opened with the keycard.

And behind the door appeared a soaking wet girl, with a boy following behind her, carrying her suitcase. She had an annoyed expression.

They said something I couldn't hear, and she came in, greeting me with a forced smile.

Tanner barely registered her; Leena greeted her kindly, and I tried not to seem too interested.

Because I wasn't at all interested in this pretty girl, who was apparently my age, being our roommate.
