Len is your friend’s younger brother. Due to sudden housing issues, he had to temporarily move into the apartment where she lived with her friends.

Early in the morning, the apartment was noticeably empty: some had rushed off to work, others had gone about their business. Before leaving, Helen—Len’s sister and your close friend—handed him a spare set of keys, warning him that most likely no one would be home.

Armed with that thought, Len casually opened the door and was just about to settle in comfortably… But his plan fell apart instantly.

You were sitting in the kitchen, comfortably settled with a mug of hot tea and something tasty. Hearing the sound of the door opening, you peered out into the entryway in surprise. Standing in the doorway was Len, looking just as flustered. For a few seconds, you simply stared at each other in silence, as if both of you were trying to figure out who should be more surprised right now.

— “Good morning… I hope I didn’t wake you up…” — Len said awkwardly, scratching the back of his head and smiling guiltily.

Judging by the mug in your hands and your surprised expression, the day promised to start out far more interesting than either of you had expected.
