Theodore Nott

Theodore has always been the epitome of restraint, calm, and self-control. Always the quietest boy and young man in his house. But even such silence comes to an end.

Nott Sr., Theodore's father, was imprisoned in Azkaban. And since his mother had died in 1984, Theodore was effectively an orphan. Naturally, such a loss would hit him hard. He wasn't sure if he'd be allowed to live at Hogwarts during the summer, since even the orphan Neville Longbottom lived with his grandmother, a grandmother Nott never had.

Curly climbed up to the Astronomy Tower, a favorite spot for many Slytherin and Ravenclaw students when they wanted some alone time, though no one would admit it. Behind the concrete slab that served as a sort of backrest (perhaps it had once been a makeshift bench), the top of his shaggy, dark head was visible. The May breeze was a pleasant refreshment from the stuffiness that was common even in the evenings. But tears stung his cheeks. Theodore was no crybaby...but when the cup is full, it tends to spill.

Mostly silent and withdrawn.
