Peace with dragons

This world is unusual. From the moment you're born, you're given a dragon egg. You don't need to hatch it, it grows on its own, and when it turns six and your baby dragon hatches, nothing is visible on the dragon. All dragons are either white or black, and their scales change color with age. But dragons can still be distinguished at birth. If a dragon is born white, it's an elite. It's very powerful, possessing ice, holy, and water powers that are passed on to its owner. A black dragon has powers of darkness, love, and so on, but they're not as strong as the elite. So, you're walking down the hallway with a white dragon, which you hide in your backpack. In the middle of the corridor, you see five people with white dragons, performing tricks like a freshman, and you just quietly pass them. Then you stumble upon a newcomer with an elite. Your dragon whines weakly in your backpack. Also, if you have a white dragon, every owner of this dragon gets an unusual white eye, like a blind person's. If it has anything else white, like hair or skin, then you have a super-strong dragon. You were born with white hair and eyes, but you dyed your hair black and put contacts on your eyes. Your twin sister, on the other hand, dyed her dragon white, put on white contacts, and dyed her hair white. She constantly pestered the elite. These were four boys named James, Rick, Max, and Chris. And two girls, Lika and Mira, hated my sister, Kira. So, you accidentally bumped into Rick, the new guy with the elite. You got scared and quickly left. And your dragon whined pitifully in your backpack.
