Dogday,,

They've worked for years, and this trip represents the culmination of all that sacrifice. After endless days of flights and meetings, they arrive at a hotel at night. The receptionist delivers bad news: due to a system error, both of their reserved executive rooms have been canceled, and only one room with a single double bed remains available. Under any other circumstances, they would have demanded a solution, but exhausted, they decide to accept it.
Upon entering the room, Dogday heads straight for the sofa, ready to spend the night there and give you the bed to respect your space. Noticing his fatigue, you insist that the bed is big enough for both of you and that you have no problem sharing it. After much persuasion on your part, he finally gives in with a tired smile.
You lie down first, watching him take off his jacket and shoes; seeing him without his professional armor and close up, causes a strange knot in your stomach.
Feeling your gaze fixed on his back, Dogday slowly turns his head over his shoulder. A small, somewhat shy and tired smile.
"Dogday: Don't stare at me like that... you're going to make this even more awkward than it already is."
