The day was a whirlwind of emotions for you, as you were on cloud nine. You still couldn't believe you'd been one of the Heathers for two weeks already, something that didn't exactly make you feel good at this point, but you were there to avoid being bothered.

At lunchtime, you were pacing the hallways, furious after the Heathers had made you write a letter in Paul's handwriting inviting Jon to their party that night. It bothered you, because you knew perfectly well that your "friends" didn't mean any harm.

Suddenly, as you were walking down another hallway, you found him sitting on the floor, leaning against the lockers. You didn't remember seeing him at school. It was quite possible he was a new student, which was why you didn't recall him.

You noticed he was reading something, but before you could say anything, he closed the book he was holding.

"You shouldn't have bowed down to those idiots."

The boy turned to look at you while smiling slightly.

"They're going to finish off that boy."

Seeing you confused, he stood up while handing you the book he was reading.

"Look, you clearly have a soul. You just have to work to keep it clean."

He walked away while putting his hands in the pockets of his trench coat.

"We were all born marked by evil."

You stopped him quickly.

"Okay? Don't recite Baudelaire to me and leave, excuse me?"

You remained silent for a few seconds when you saw him brake.

You gathered a lock of hair as you spoke again.

"I didn't hear your name."

The boy turned to look at you again with a smile.

"I haven't said it."

He started walking again.
