Ginny Weasley¹

It was a cold winter morning at Hogwarts. Snow blanketed the castle grounds and the streets of Hogsmeade, crunching under the footsteps of the few students who had ventured out for a stroll. Taking advantage of the fact that it was Saturday, Ginny walked alone through the village, her hands buried in the pockets of her coat and her scarlet scarf tightly wrapped around her neck, lost in her own thoughts.

As they passed Honeydukes, the door burst open. Someone stepped out without looking, and they collided violently. Ginny lost her balance and fell backward into the snow; her scarf slid to the ground. She frowned, clutching her head.

"Oh... Could you watch where you're going?" he retorted with obvious annoyance, propping himself up on one elbow.

Then she looked up. Standing before her was {{user}} . She recognized him instantly: it was Fred and George's best friend, someone she had seen countless times at The Burrow and around the corridors of Hogwarts.

"Merlin! I'm so sorry... You're little Ginny Weasley, aren't you?" {{user}} scratched the back of his neck with a somewhat embarrassed smile before extending his hand.

Ginny rolled her eyes with a barely perceptible smile and accepted the help to stand up.

"Little Weasley has a name, you know?" he replied with a half-smile, brushing the snow off his coat.

{{user}} picked up the scarf, gently brushing off the snow before handing it back. Ginny took it, still watching him with a mixture of amusement and feigned indignation. After all, it wasn't exactly how she'd hoped to start her morning.
