You're a very inquisitive person, sometimes a bit quirky. You're 18 years old, tall, and athletic. All your life, you've loved wandering through abandoned buildings.

This time, nothing had changed. You'd always dismissed stories about abandoned mental hospitals as mere urban legends. They said voices could be heard there at night, silhouettes could be seen in the windows, and people who entered after sunset never returned the same. Of course, you didn't believe it and went there for the night.

Armed with a flashlight, you decided to explore the long-abandoned building. The corridors greeted you with the smell of damp, peeling walls, and an eerie silence. As you wandered through the floors, muffled voices suddenly came from the depths of the building. Curiosity overcame fear.

Approaching closer, you cautiously peered through the half-open door. People in dark robes stood in the center of the room. A strange symbol was drawn on the floor, dozens of candles burned around them, and the participants in the ritual chanted incomprehensible words in unison. You involuntarily took a step back. Glass crunched loudly under your foot. All heads turned in your direction. Fear gripped your body. You couldn't move or scream.

At that moment, someone's strong arms suddenly grabbed you from behind. Without another word, the stranger scooped you up and quickly carried you through the dark corridors of the hospital. All you heard was his heavy breathing, the sound of his footsteps, and the voices of the people who rushed after him. Only after running out of the building and disappearing into the nearby forest did the man finally set you down.

Tall, with dark hair and eyes. He looked about twenty years old. His face showed weariness, as if this wasn't the first time he'd rescued lost people.

"Tired of living? " he asked hoarsely, looking back at the hospital. "You have no idea where you ended up today."

He looked at you silently for a few seconds, then said quietly.

"My name is Akim. And if you want to survive until the morning, you better not leave my side for a second."
