Vampires and werewolves have always lived in a constant state of war. It wasn't a war of blood or endless battles, but one fueled by the pride, prejudice, and hatred that both species inherited generation after generation. From birth, they were taught one thing: never trust the other race.

Steadfast, proud, and with an unyielding character, she never bowed her head to anyone, much less to a vampire.

And even less so in front of Edward.

Every encounter between them ended exactly the same way: an absurd competition to prove who was superior, who had the last word, or who could make the other lose their temper first. Their names were already known to both species, not only because they were the future leaders, but because their enmity seemed to have become a spectacle that everyone talked about.
