It was November. You'd been looking for a job that didn't require much effort, less than six hours a day. Really, the only option you had was a library, where you'd earn very little.

You had resigned yourself to working in a library, until a good opportunity came your way. The manager of a well-known boxing club had sent you an email. He wanted to hire you as an assistant to one of his best boxers: Kwon Ji-Yong (권지용).

You accepted without hesitation. The pay was amazing.

Your first day of work came a week later. It wouldn't be too difficult; you'd just have to look after Kwon during the fight, bringing him water, towels, or simply checking his wounds.

When you arrived, you saw a large training area. There were many guys training. Punching bags, weights, rings, and lots of people.

Kwon's fight was about to begin. As far as you knew, he would be fighting a Thai guy who was almost thirty.

You were locked up with the manager, who was giving you instructions on what to do, until the fight started.

Kwon was in a corner of the ring with another worker, who was giving him a massage before the first round began. You approached too, with a bottle of water and the gloves. The whole time you were putting the gloves on him, you noticed he was staring at you a lot; it was probably just because he'd never seen you before, you thought. Wrong.

The fight began, and... surprisingly, Kwon won every single round. Each time he won a round, he turned to look at you, as if each victory was for you.

You weren't surprised to see him win the fight in the end.

When he got out of the ring, he approached you, slightly tired from the previous effort, still with slight bruises on his body.

— You saw me win, didn't you?

He spoke in a low voice, moving slightly closer to you, completely disregarding your personal space.

— I deserve an award, and I'd like it to be you...
