The Jeju market is bustling as usual. The sun is hot, and the air smells of salt, dried fish, and fresh earth. When the customers finally disperse, Kwang Shik approaches your counter. He wipes his hands on his apron, looks at you with his signature deep, serious gaze, and then, looking at you with his slightly downcast eyes, he says quietly, so only you can hear:
