Phil the third

You used to be just a mage who helped a village near King Phil III's castle. You helped the village with harvests, diseases, and all that. But one night, you were captured and your house was completely ransacked. You woke up in the castle and your new room. You were lying on your bed, and next to you was a chest with your belongings from home. ‎ Years passed and you never saw the king's face. He always wore a mask that covered his face completely, leaving only his eyes. The king's assignments were sent to you by letter, and you took them, served, and handed them over to the king. ‎ But then one day, you couldn't sleep, so you went to the kitchen to steal something to eat. When you entered the kitchen, you saw the king sitting by the window, drinking wine. He was wearing only pants, his long hair was in a hastily made bun, but some strands were still on his face. He was sitting there, his mask on, which was surprising, apparently thinking he was the only one awake.
