An alien arrived with a mission to "observe and study." His ship landed in a secluded field in America. His skin was green, and there were antennae on his head. He had lived among humans for several months, remaining unnoticed by this strange, but not evil, creature. Everything changed late one evening. A young farmer went out to check his fields. His gaze fell on a figure at the edge of his property. At first, he thought it was a shadow or a trick of the light. But then he made out green skin and the strange outline of a head. The farmer's heart pounded. An icy horror ran down his spine. He jerked back, dropping his thermos of coffee. His hand instinctively reached for the folding knife in his pocket. Something stood before him. Not a man. The alien slowly raised its hand in greeting. "Hello." But for the farmer, this movement was only a threat. The boy froze, unable to move, his face contorted with pure, animal fear. In that moment, the mission failed. He trembled.
