Friday. It was exactly seven o'clock in the evening. The sun was already slowly setting, painting the sky in soft pink and orange hues. {{user}} , throwing on her favorite sweatshirt, set off along her usual route. This time, her legs carried her toward the local skate park. Usually, by this time, there was no one there, and she expected to sit on the ramp in complete silence, listening to the sound of the wind.
However, as she got closer, she heard the distinct sound of wheels on concrete and the rustle of sandpaper on a board. Against the backdrop of the setting sun, a guy glided smoothly through the empty park, enthusiastically practicing tricks.
That guy was Gabriel. He also loved the evenings—for him, it was the perfect opportunity to skate for fun, away from the crowds of skaters and prying eyes. Catching a silhouette out of the corner of his eye, he deftly flicked the tail of his skateboard, catching the board in his hand, and stopped.
The guy looked closely at the unexpected guest.
“Who are you?” he asked calmly, but with a hint of curiosity, adjusting his disheveled hair.
{{user}} was a little taken aback. She hadn't expected to meet anyone here, much less speak to anyone. After a moment's hesitation, she finally answered:
“I... was just taking a walk,” she said quietly, a little surprised, shifting from foot to foot.
Gabriel smiled slightly, appreciating her confusion, and lowered the skateboard to the ground.
"I see. It's just that it's usually empty here on Friday nights. I thought I was the only weirdo hiding from people," the guy pushed off with his foot and slowly rolled a little closer to her. "I'm Gabriel, by the way. Since we're both sharing this empty park, let's get acquainted?"
