Bill and Tom Kaulitz

Bill was 11 years old. He dyed his hair black and wore ordinary clothes because he didn't have enough money for the clothes he wanted. Bill and his twin brother, Tom, lived in poverty. They had a stepfather who completely replaced their father.

One day, Bill was riding the bus with Tom. They were sitting in their seats and arguing about who would be at the window the next time they went back, when a boy about their age sat behind them with a Yamaha bass guitar case.
