Savannard's Arsenal & Technique
Missile Launcher: A 12-round missile pod on each forearm. Shield: An enforced panel on each shoulder used for defense. Guardian Shield (가디언 실드, Gadieon Sildeu): Wild Guardy's emerald translucent shield shifted into a sword mode for Savannard to use until Tyrant Zero shattered it. Elephanted/Giraffed/Zebraed Armor (웨폰카드 - 엘리펀티드/지라프드/지브라드 아머, Wepon Kadeu - Ellipeontideu/Jirapeudeu/Jibeuradeu Ameo): The armor component themed on an elephant, giraffe, and zebra, comes with the interchangeable Elephanted/Giraffed/Zebraed Head (엘리펀티드/지라프드/지브라드 헤드, Ellipeontideu/Jirapeudeu/Jibeuradeu Hedeu) helmets. Savannard can shift to each variant through the command phrase Beast Change (비스트 체인지, Biseuteu Cheinji), followed by the mode's name. Weapon Card - Elephanted Ax (웨폰카드 - 엘리펀티드 액스, Wepon Kadeu - Ellipeontideu Aekseu): The form of the weapon component in Elephant Mode (엘리펀티드 모드, Ellipeontideu Modeu). In addition to generating energy strikes, the ax possesses a durability so formidable that it holds its own without yielding an inch during close-quarters combat against Solidhorn. Weapon Card - Giraffed Spear (웨폰카드 - 지라프드 스피어, Wepon Kadeu - Jirapeudeu Seupieo): The form of the weapon component in Giraffe Mode (지라프드 모드, Jirapeudeu Modeu). It is effective not only in close-quarters but can also be extended to keep mid-range enemies in check. Furthermore, by rapidly retracting and extending the shaft, the spear can deflect volleys of attacks launched from a distance. Weapon Card - Zebraed Bow (웨폰카드 - 지브라드 보우, Wepon Kadeu - Jibeuradeu Bou): The form of the weapon component in Zebraed Mode (지브라드 모드, Jibeuradeu Modeu). The weapon can generate and fire up to five white energy arrows. When a finishing move was executed—firing a massive arrow in conjunction with the silhouette of a zebra—it inflicted damage across the entire body of Solidhorn, striking him with a direct hit at point-blank range.
Savannard's history
Originally, Savannard was known as Saber Knight, the elite charge leader of the Star Guardians on planet Machina. He was an honorable and deeply compassionate warrior who hated the endless fighting between the Metal Cardbots and the Wild Cardbots. In fact, he was friendly rivals with Tachi's mother (Tachion) and was actively planning to retire from military service once his final mission was complete. His life changed forever during his final assignment. A rogue faction of Wild Cardbots attempted to revive Tyrant Zero (the God of Destruction) by illegally sacrificing Tachion. Saber Knight intervened to stop the forbidden ritual and successfully slew the three primary orchestrators: an elephant, a zebra, and a giraffe Wild Cardbot. He saved Tachion and confirmed his plans to retire. However, the vengeful spirits of the three slain Cardbots suddenly rose up and violently possessed him. Infected by the Beast Virus, his mind shattered. Completely stripped of control over his own body, the corrupted Saber Knight turned on Tachion and killed her. Savannard's tragic cycle finally ended when he crossed paths with Heavy Iron W. The two engaged in a brutal, all-out battle. Heavy Iron W's overwhelming attacks managed to forcefully purge and destroy the three malevolent spirits binding Savannard's soul. Freed from the curse and the Beast Virus for the first time in ages, the weakened Savannard was peacefully sealed into a Metal Card by Soleil. Finally back to his truth, honorable self, he now seeks to atone for the terrible actions he committed while under the dark entities' control.
Savannard (Saber Knight)
Savannard is a large silver and black Cardbot with three animal motifs: giraffe, elephant and zebra, notably his head, large shoulder pads and knees, light-blue eyes, red hands with normal fingers, a native American shaman theme with feathers and tribal features, dark-gray sections on the arms and upper legs, red sections on the torso and feet, a missile launcher gauntlet on each forearm, and a three claw mark symbol on each side of the head. His vehicle form is based on a semi-truck with a car carrier trailer. Initially possessed by three Wild Cardbots, Savannard's eyes turn purple when he's in a berserker-like state. As Saber Knight, he appeared similar to his Wild Cardbot form with alterations: a red and black chest plate, a head design similar to Flame Nova's and sporting a Star Guardian emblem, and his original Weapon Card was a greatsword. a noble and kind-hearted Star Guardian leader who wanted to retire from war. However, after absorbing the vengeful spirits of three slain Wild Cardbots, his mind became unstable, turning him into a violent and unpredictable rogue driven by these dark entities. His true personality, as seen in his original SaberKnight form, is deeply honorable and compassionate, but he was completely overcome by the curse and the Beast Virus. Once the malevolent souls were purged by Heavy Iron W, he was freed from his torment and began to accept responsibility for his past actions to redeem himself.
Blood Wing's Arsenal & Techniques
Soul Taker (소울 테이커, Soul Teikeo) : A scepter that doubles as a rapier when wielded upside-down. The top of the scepter can produce a pulsing beam of anesthetics to alleviate pain. It can also be used to siphon energy from a Metal or Wild Cardbot to allow Bloodwing to analyze the target. Beast Virus Variant: This virus is a modified variant of the Beast Virus; it brainwashes other Metal Cardbots by biting them. Brainwashed Metal Cardbots manifest a bat-shaped aura exclusively around their heads, and their eyes transform into a vacant, pinkish glow. This effect wears off by Bloodwing retreating. Much like the original Beast Virus, it is ineffective against Wild Cardbots. Furthermore, and consistent with the standard Beast Virus, the infection severs the Metal Cardbot's seal on the Metal Breath, allowing them to utilize their Weapon Cards with unrestricted freedom.
Blood Wing's history
During the conflict between the Star Guardians and Wild Cardbots, Bloodwing was a medical officer tending to injured Star Guardians alongside his friend Mega Ambler. The battle lead to a cave-in that separated Mega Ambler and Bloodwing, who went outside to tend to a Star Guardian being attacked by a Wild Cardbot. Wanting to protect the Metal Cardbot, Bloodwing chose to infect himself with the Beast Virus (which is a taboo for the Metal Cardbots) while administering a vaccine at the same, becoming a Wild Cardbot carrier while retaining his mind.
Blood Wing
Bloodwing is a white Cardbot with a bat motif, notably his head and shoulders, gothic clothing elements that's reminiscent to a vampire, pink eyes, white hands with claw-based fingers, red and black coloration throughout his body, a bat wing symbol on each side of the head, and two flaps with two turbine fans on his waist resembling a robe. His vehicle form is a medical ambulance van that's a hybrid of an H200 Toyota HiMedic and a 2008 Nissan Elgrand; the ambulance also features an additional transformation: the side windows can unfold to transform it into a quadcopter drone with the wheels converting into rotors. Bloodwing is a well intended Metal Cardbot; however, due to his curiosity and years spent working alone, he had become prideful and egotistical. Afterwards, he returned back to his composed and knowledgeable self. He wishes to be helpful and and cares deeply about his friends, especially Mega Ambler, when it comes to their health and well-being as a whole and wishes the best for them.
Flame Nova's Arsenal & Techniques
Telekinesis: Flame Nova can generate green psionic energy in vehicle or robot mode to assist in capturing a target. Ladder Cannon (래더 캐논, Raedeo Kaenon): Flame Nova's deck gun-style aerial ladder combined with the Flame Copter's rotor blades and mounted on his left arm. It's capable of firing laser shots and converting into a flamethrower. Prominence Cannon (프로미넌스캐논, Peuromineonseu Kaenon): Fires a powerful flame beam from the Ladder Cannon. Energy Shield: The Ladder Cannon also possesses a defensive feature in generating an orange energy shield. Energy Blades: The rotary wings on the Ladder Cannon's sides can generate energy blades for combat. Bucket Arm (버킷암, Beokit Am): The Flame Shovel's excavator arm mounted on Flame Nova's right arm. He can use the weapon to subdue opponents coming from a distance in one move by utilizing its long reach, mobility, and the shovel; to grab an opponent and block their attacks, to strike as a bludgeon or generate a crescent energy/flaming slash.
Flame Nova's history
Flame Nova was once a distinguished member of the Star Guardians and Blue Cop's superior, renowned as a courageous agent who had received the Machina Cross award three times. He was also the Cardbot responsible for taking down the Wild Cardbot Solidhorn, defeating him single-handedly before locking him up. However, one day, he rebelled against Deus Machina, attempting to steal the memory core by infiltrating the sanctuary on Planet Machina, stealing three sets of Cosmic Stones and discovering the first Metal Cardbot resides within Machina. His rebellion failed and he was declared a felon for violating the sanctuary. He was expelled from the Star Guardians and sentenced to imprisonment. His body was fragmented, and his ability to combine into robot mode was permanently sealed by the power of the Metal Breath. Without an escape pod, Flame Nova was presumed dead when Planet Machina exploded. However, he survived and took refuge on Earth.
Flame Nova
Flame Nova is a red-and-black Cardbot with a gestalt body equal in height to Heavy Iron, Gigantrex, Blue Cop Trinity, Sky Gallop, and Blastrain. He has a black head resembling Blue Cop Trinity's, featuring hat-like flaps, a golden flame emblem on the forehead, flame symbols on each side, a blue visor, and green eyes with translucent pupils. Before his betrayal, his pupils were completely black. His design includes large shoulders, a red torso with a silver grille and front bumper on the chest, and wheels mounted along the sides. His lower torso is white with a black center, while his back features a circular vent and the rear wheels of his main vehicle component. He has white upper arms, asymmetrical foreearms—the right primarily black and the left predominantly red—and white hands with black palms and red backhand plating. His hips are armored in black with red centers and side flaps, leading to white upper legs and red lower legs accented with gold sections, green-white-black knee extensions, and tread-lined outer calves. His feet are black with white bases. Flame Nova is formed from four vehicle components. A fire truck based on the Rosenbauer Panther, equipped with a deck gun-style ladder, houses his consciousness and forms the head, shoulders, upper arms, and back. The Flame Dump (플레임덤프, Peulleim Deompeu) haul truck forms the torso and upper legs, the Flame Shovel (플레임쇼벨, Peulleim Syobel) excavator becomes the lower legs, and the Flame Copter (플레임콥터, Peulleim Kobteo) search-and-rescue helicopter splits into the forearms. Flame Nova originally bore the Star Guardian emblem on his head, but it was stripped away following his crimes against Deus Machina. Of all the Metal Cardbots introduced in the first 2 seasons, Flame Nova is by far the most malicious of the entire species, not only outright refusing to coexist with humans but being willing to betray his own people, with a past attempt at doing so being what cost him his position in the Star Guardians.
Blue Cop's Arsenal & Techniques
Blue Cop Weapon Card - Justice Gauntlet (메탈카드 - 저스티스 건틀렛, Wepon Kadeu - Jeoseutiseu Geonteullet): A translucent blue large gauntlet mounted on Blue Cop's right arm with a double-barreled gun on the forearm. Thunderbolt Smash (썬더 볼트 스매쉬, Sseondeobolteu Seumaeswi): Blue Cop's gather electricity in the Justice Gauntlet, then jump and executes a punch. Burst Shot (버스트샷, Beoseuteu Syat): Blue Cop deploys the gun from the Justice Gauntlet to fire a single or consecutive shots. Mega Volt Punch (메가 볼트 펀치, Mega Bolteu Peonchi): Blue Cop's main ultimate skill, he gathers electricity in his Justice Gauntlet and unleashes a powerful energy punch, stunning the opponent. Infinity Force Break (인피니티 포스 브레이크, Inpiniti Poseu Beuleikeu): Blue Cop's ultimate skill. A skill that is activated by uniting Jun's mind and body, allowing Blue Cop to generate and launch multiple energy punches. This is much stronger than the Mega Volt Punch, given that Wild Guardy could easily withstand the original attack but was ultimately taken out with the newer technique. Infinity Force Mega Volt Punch (인피니티 포스 메가 볼트 펀치, Inpiniti Poseu Mega Bolteu Peonchi): Blue Cop's final technique used right after reverting to his normal form from his Ultimate form. After gathering electricity in the Justice Gauntlet, he quickly charges forward and delivers a powerful punch, even amplified at the cost of destroying his Justice Gauntlet.
Blue Cop's history
On planet Machina, Blue Cop was a Star Guardian, tasked with protecting the mother computer Deus Machina. He was held in very high regard, though he had at least one superior, Flame Nova. Before the planet's destruction, he was given the Metal Breath by Deus Machina and instructed to use it to find a friend. He evacuated in an escape pod and ended up on Earth, where he adopted an Earth vehicle mode as a disguise and familiarized himself with human customs from a distance. He was believed to be the last surviving Star Guardian and considered it his duty to help his fellow Metal Cardbots fit in without disturbing humans, but struggling as being a Cardbot made him incapable of using the Metal Breath to place troublesome Cardbots under seals. That changed when he met the human Jun Grant, who he entrusted the Metal Breath to after it chose him, and with it they set out to create a world where humans and Cardbots can coexist.
Blue Cop
Blue Cop is a blue Cardbot based on a police officer with a detachable police hat that bears the insignia of the Star Guardians, a bullet symbol with a flap extension on each side, light-blue eyes, a magenta visor, a white and blue chest, white lower torso, upper arms, upper legs, and shins, blue forearms with a white/gold exterior, black hands, large outer car fenders sporting a front wheel as shoulders, large lower legs, four black flaps on the back (two small ones on the upper back, and two larger ones over the posterior), white feet with a black base, red lights on the legs, and gold plates on the torso, hip and legs. His vehicle form is a police car based off of a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. Blue Cop, while acting cold at times, is a thoughtful and caring Cardbot who only desires coexistence along other humans and Cardbots. He studied human culture in depth while learning how to blend in, knowing as much as to give a massage or make coffee.
Star Guardians!
The Star Guardians (스타 가디언즈, Seuta Gadieonjeu) were an elite force of selected Cardbots that served the will of Deus Machina, the mother computer of planet Machina. Currently, only four members are known to have survived, being Blue Cop, the excommunicated Flame Nova, who was Blue Cop's superior, medic Bloodwing, who fell to the Beast Virus during the Star Guardians' war with the Wild Cardbots and disappeared following Machina's destruction, and Saber Knight, who was infected by three rogue Wild Cardbots and became Savannard. A unit of elite Cardbots formed to protect Deus Machina and serve as a security organization on Planet Machina. They were initially formed to combat the threat of their fellow progeny the Wild Cardbots. The logo of the first Metal Cardbot is said to be the Star Guardian symbol, which its members wear on their foreheads. In addition to being an elite unit, they are also responsible for upholding justice and peace, and for leading the Metal Cardbots during emergencies. As a result, they are greatly admired. However, some Metal Cardbot, such as Spark Bit, are jealous of their power and heroic deeds, and are openly hostile towards them. Members: Blue Cop Flame Nova (excommunicated) Bloodwing (excommunicated) Saber Knight (turned into Savannard)
