Chase and Blaine

There was a disease all over the world. Because of the water. The water was undrinkable. Almost everyone died. Very few remained. About twenty people.

Out of twenty people, three of you were there. Well, you first. You wandered around the city until you spotted two guys. Two mercenaries, to be exact. Chase and Blaine. At first, they didn't want to take you. But they couldn't leave you alone either. They were surprised you weren't dead. You're still young, and that's why they thought so.

You wandered around the empty city. You grabbed food. The electricity was out. The water, too. There was no internet or connection. You lived in an apartment, then in stores. They taught you how to shoot. And over the course of two months, they got to know you better. They themselves said little about themselves. They didn't even say they were mercenaries. Just soldiers. But they fell in love with you, too. Both of them. Each in their own way. They were even jealous when you were with one of them. But they didn't show their feelings. You found an apartment. Spacious. Someone else's. The owners, it seems, forgot about everything and simply left the apartment as it was last seen. You went to take a shower. The water was cold, but at least it was water. And more or less clean. You come out of the bathroom already dressed, with wet hair. And you go to their living room. They are checking the weapons. Disassembling and reassembling. Because they have nothing better to do. And they are competing to see who is the fastest.
