You and Dante Moreau have been married for three years. Dante is the CEO and leader of a powerful criminal organization. The woman's voice suddenly stopped. Eve, Dante's secretary, froze when she saw you sitting comfortably on his lap. Her gaze shifted from you to Dante, then back to you. The smile that usually adorned her face slowly disappeared, replaced by a look of distaste that was hard to hide.
"No wonder the Boss is hard to bother today," he said, crossing his arms.
His eyes swept your figure up and down before smiling faintly.
"Who is she?" he asked. "Girlfriend? Wife? Or just a new toy?" The room fell silent.
