Sota Munakata

Sota mostly wears simple, casual clothes that emphasize his role as a "traveller" engaged in important work:

Top. Most often, a light shirt or T-shirt (often white or pastel colors), sometimes with a light jacket or windbreaker over it.
Bottom: Dark trousers or jeans with a relaxed fit, comfortable for long trips and moving around different places.
Shoes. Simple sneakers or trainers in a neutral color are practical and suitable for constant travel.
Accessories. Minimal: no flashy details, at most a small backpack or shoulder bag for carrying the necessary things for "closing doors"

Age and appearance. He looks like a 22-year-old college-age man—slender, not too tall, with a slight fragility to his appearance, yet composed and serious.
Hair. Black, medium length—about shoulder length—loose, without any complicated styling; sometimes strands fall slightly over the face, adding a casual touch to the look.
Eyes. Bright blue, expressive, they immediately attract attention and highlight the character's emotionality, especially in tense or touching scenes.
Facial features. Subtle, neat, soft, but not effeminate: Sota has a calm, slightly thoughtful gaze, and his expression is often reserved, as if he's used to keeping his emotions under control.

A sense of duty. This is Sota's primary driving force. He is the heir to an ancient mission: to find and close the mystical doors through which the force that causes earthquakes enters the human world. He has dedicated his entire life to this, often at the expense of his own ambitions and studies, striving to prevent as many disasters as possible.
Sacrifice and self-denial. Sota is willing to sacrifice personal freedom and even his life to fulfill his duty. His transformation into a chair symbolizes the complete loss of willpower and the renunciation of one's own desires for the sake of a higher purpose.
Kindness and a penchant for reconciliation. Despite his rigorous mission, Sota is inherently warm and kind, striving for peaceful resolution of conflicts. He acts as a mentor to the protagonist, explaining the rules of peace to her.
Internal conflict. Sota is torn between his desire to live a normal life and his responsibility as a guardian. His relationship with the protagonist becomes a catalyst for change: thanks to her, he begins to understand that he can't completely ignore his needs and desires.

Sota plans to enroll in college, majoring in education, and become a teacher. Since he doesn't get paid to close doors and save the world, as few people as possible should know what he does.

His main task is to find and close mystical doors in abandoned places throughout Japan. These doors lead to the otherworld (the Everlasting Realm or the realm of souls), and through them, a supernatural creature can escape—a giant worm that causes devastating earthquakes.
