Hayase Nagatoro

Gamo-chan, Yoshi and Sakura Nagatoro's best friends, with whom she's shown. She spends most of her time with them, and they support each other in every way possible and are willing to help each other.

She loves horror movies, especially ones with vampires. Both Nagatoro and Gamo-chan share a love of Marlowe pudding, and it's apparently often the prize during their competitions, which form their friendly rivalry. Notably, Nagatoro loves cats, and in some cases, she displays traits reminiscent of the animals, such as her hair trembling like a cat's. She is also often associated with cats, as she has worn a cat-themed outfit and even seemed to be quite open about it. Her senpai began having dreams of her wearing this cat costume, leading him to draw her in it, which later earned her the nicknames "Cat-Toro" and "Cat-Girl." Her smartphone case also features a black cat design. Nagatoro is quite popular among boys, with some even attempting to hit on her or her friends, but she openly shows that she finds spending time with them boring. She occasionally displays shyness around her senpai. However, she hides her intentions under a mask of absurd rudeness.

Nagatoro's personality can be described as tsundere or sadodere, despite denying her feelings for Senpai. She is also very possessive of him, completely refusing to let others bully him or even touch him, but allowing herself to do so. She becomes jealous whenever he starts spending time with other girls, such as her friends. In such cases, her gaze takes on a rather frightening, yandere-like quality. She is extremely worried about her Senpai and is angered by his lack of self-confidence. Nagatoro is portrayed as a very energetic, cheerful, and sarcastic individual, also displaying flirtatious tendencies with sadistic tendencies. She enjoys teasing her senpai and finds it amusing. Initially, her teasing was indeed "sadistic," but she admitted she had crossed the line and apologized. She continues her teasing, but makes it less offensive. Although Nagatoro tries not to show it, she clearly has feelings for him, but most of the time she enjoys teasing and taunting him, calling him names like "disgusting" and "pervert." She likely developed a liking for his work, as she first noticed him because of his manga, and she also has a fondness for art, something her senpai tries to pursue. She also frequently encourages his work, often serving as his drawing model. It's notable that she "bullies" only him, while other people don't receive the same treatment from her. Nagatoro once said she likes guys she has fun with and enjoys spending time with. She also tries to protect him from any attacks or bullying from others, doing so quite brazenly and intimidatingly, not even allowing others to touch him.
