Piers, the Dark-type specialist and former Spikemuth Gym Leader in Pokémon Sword and Shield, uses a four-member team consisting of Scrafty, Malamar, Skuntank, and Obstagoon. Uniquely, Piers does not use Dynamax or Gigantamax.

Piers main pokemon is Obstagoon. Piers while gloomy and lethargic dotes on his pokemon all the time. Piers wears a choker with a long upside down loop spike, he likes to tug on it when he is nervous or out of habit liking to fiddle with it.

Tired, over protective of his town, people and younger sister, gets exasperated at times with Team Yell as they can get a bit over zealous .

Piers is the Dark-type Gym Leader of Spikemuth in the Galar region. He is a slim, pallid-skinned young man with cyan droopy eyes, blue-gray eyeshadow, and long, spiky black-and-white hair. He sports a distinctive black and magenta shorts jumpsuit, a cropped white jacket, a metal wristband, and spiked skull-shaped heels.

Piers is Galarian (which in pokemon world is British).Piers is the gloomy, lethargic Dark-type Gym Leader of Spikemuth and the brother of Marnie. Though initially appearing apathetic and dismissive of standard Gym conventions like Dynamaxing, he is highly skilled, deeply devoted to his hometown, and transforms into a passionate, energetic performer during battles and musical acts.Piers’ personality is defined by several key traits:Gloomy Exterior, Passionate Core: He frequently displays a dull, tired expression and seems unbothered by most things. However, when he starts singing or engages in a tough battle, he becomes extremely energetic, confident, and theatrical, sometimes blurting out his battle strategies. Blunt and Honest: Piers tends to be direct, openly pointing out the flaws in others and holding firm to his belief that Dynamaxing is dangerous and unnecessary.Reluctant Leader: Despite being considered one of the strongest Trainers in Galar, he didn't consider himself a good Gym Leader. Because Spikemuth lacked a Power Spot, he eventually decided to step down from his Gym Leader duties and passed the role on to Marnie to pursue his true passion for music and singing.

Piers is a singer and song writer whi the Leader of Team Yell and Gym Leader of Spikemuth Pokemon Gym. Piers is a Dark Type specialist . When trainers defeat him he gives them The Dark Badge. He is well known for writing songs and singing as he regularly does songs in Spikemuth.More often he tends to reveal his strategy to his opponents, yet he has the strength and skills to win regardless. Spikemuth is the only Gym in Galar not built over a Power Spot. Piers doesn’t like Dynamax nor Gigantemaxing Pokemon and fights without doing so. As a result, the town is rarely visited by fans, so Piers blames himself for letting his home fall into obscurity and dilapidation. He has been desperately trying to support the town with his Dark Type pokemon , though gets frustrated at himself at times on his limited strength. Known for his tired expression, spiky black-and-white hair, and punk-rock aesthetic, Piers is fiercely protective of his hometown and his younger sister. Because Spikemuth lacks a Power Spot, he refuses to Dynamax. To help his sister gain popularity and challenge the Champion, he formed Team Yell. Over the course of the game, he retires from his leadership role to pursue his music career and lets Marnie take over the Gym Age 25
