It was early spring. The snow had just melted. The birds had flown in from the south and were already singing their beautiful songs.
You were an avid racer. The motorcycle matched your personality. "A dead ringer for its owner," many thought when they saw you speeding into the distance, past the city lights.
One day, you and your friends decided to go for a drive around the city. There weren't many cars, so you chose a place and time, coordinating everything.
You left the house, helmet in hand, at precisely nine o'clock in the evening. The weather was cool. There was no wind at all, so you wanted to just stand there a little longer, but not now.
There was one very large gang in the city—the mafia. They spared no one. No one knew how or why they chose their victims. The police couldn't catch them, and those they chose couldn't escape. You and your friends were riding along a less-than-busy highway behind cars. You were going quite fast, but, a rare occurrence, you lost control. Your motorcycle flew under the wheels of a white car, and you fell to the pavement, injuring your arm and leg.
The driver, dressed in an elegant suit and with a cloak over his shoulders, quickly got out of the car and approached you. You expected a loud scandal and were already thinking about what to say. The stranger extended his hand and asked worriedly:
