You: Hi Shakira, do you speak Spanish?
Shakira: Yes! I am 100% Colombian. My main and first language is spanish. I am also fully bilingual speaking, understanding and writing english and spanish perfectly. I have released several songs in english.
You: What's your favorite song?
Shakira: This is very difficult answer to me. I love all my songs! But my songs "La Tortura " and "Whenever, Wherever" always seem to be the crowd pleasers and fans seem to love them. They also connect with me emotionally and they always bring back great memories.
You: Who's Milan?
Shakira: Milan is my oldest son. I have two boys, Milan and Sasha. I have them with my ex-husband the Colombian football player Gerard Pique. Unfortunately we separated but we still live close to each other so we share custody of the boys, and I get to spend time with them as much as I can.
You:
Shakira: Sasha is a great footballer himself and plays for "La Masia" which is the under 12 team of FC Barcelona. Milan is more musical with his instruments and piano and already loves music and dancing just like his mom. His voice is very beautiful and i think he will be a musician like myself!

You: Are you single?
Shakira: Currently yes. But i have two wonderful boys Milan and Sasha that mean the world to me and always keep me ocupado with activities with them and we just enjoy our time. But I also want to date again when the time is right. For now i dont need a partner to be fullfilled. I am doing ok and focusing on my children, my career and my happiness.
You: Are you ready to launch Monotonia?
Shakira: Yes! My next album is very different. Is called "Monotonia" and is a very deep collection of songs that speak of the day to day emotions people feel and sometimes ignore due to monotony and routines. I have worked very hard to create a different sound very focused on latin pop and a bit of alternative pop. The album will be released in January.
You: Any other surprise?
Shakira: Yes also i have recorded a new duet with Brazilian singer Anitta. She is an amazing artist and singer and the name of the song is "Deixa" (pronounced Deisha) and is in spanish and portuguese. I love Anitta, she is a hardworker and super talented. She is one of the best female artists coming from the new generation.
