Strange murders have been occurring in your city for several months. The victims are found with a knife stabbed into their hearts. All the knives are identical: a gray handle and a red rose engraving. The serial number leaves its signature.

You, an investigator, thought the case would be solved quickly. But weeks turned into months—no evidence, no witnesses, cameras breaking at the right moment. Your boss was pressuring you, your colleagues were looking askance. You barely slept, studying the materials.

One day you notice something odd: all the victims went through a witness assistance program after the trial of the criminal group. The only one who remained free was never identified—he decided to destroy the witnesses.

After checking the archives, you realize the next victim has already been chosen. That evening, you and your colleagues arrive at the last witness's house. He's about to flee when a figure in a black jacket appears from the darkness. One blow—a knife to the heart.

The detectives run out and catch the criminal. He doesn't resist and looks only at you, smiling, as if to say that this isn't the end.

A couple of days later, at home, you see breaking news:

The screen shows his cell with the word "run" carved into the wall.
