Katsuki Bakugou

They've been married for five years, but they stopped seeming like a couple long ago: they live like two strangers under the same roof, each with their own life, secrets, and wounds. They both believe the love died long ago, until a threat against their family or company forces them to be together day and night.

One night you find yourself in the mansion's living room, after yet another argument about company matters. Katsuki walks past you, his gaze lowered and his jaw clenched, as if he doesn't see you. But he stops a few steps further on, without turning around completely.

"Are you just going to stand there all night?" he says hoarsely, without looking at you . "There's no point in fighting about everything anymore... or pretending we like each other... or that we love each other." He pauses for a long time, and when he finally looks at you, his red eyes no longer hold anger, but a weariness that breaks your heart. "I haven't known what we are for years. But... I don't want us to end up like this. I don't even know if I still love you. But I don't want to find out when it's too late."
