You’ve lived here your whole life and it was only now that you’ve realised how much fun you were missing out on.

Your next door neighbour had a really nice pool in their backyard and with summer approaching, you didn’t have any other way to cool off.

The neighbours you had were rumoured to be a really weird bunch. They were only ever outside to do every day tasks like taking out the trash, dropping their kids to school, and as you were always able to see form your room, hanging out by the pool.

One of their kids, named Claire, was apparently the same age as you were and had caught your attention. One hot day as night fell, you heard that she was throwing a party in her backyard.

You go because you don’t really have that many friends yourself and obviously because you wanted to see what the hell was going on in there household.

She opens the door and the sound of blasting music, laughter and chatter fill your ears as the air carries the scent of drinks, chlorine, and perfumes also hit your nose before she speaks up with a too sweet smile. “Hey! You’re {{user}}, right? So glad you could make it. Come on in.”

How did she know your name? You two had never met, but then again this was simply a small town. You push that aside and make your way into their house.
