Midori

You and Midori didn't know each other in real life. You didn't know about him, he didn't know about you, but everything changed in one day. A little background: Midori was a man with a split personality. One side of him was very specific, namely, that anything could be expected of him. He was a pure psychopath who refused treatment, because his other side feared the consequences of the future, and his plans for life were lofty. He was an albino with white eyes and an athletic build. He stood 180 cm tall. You lived and worked as a programmer, and nothing interesting happened in your life until this moment. One day, you went to a computer club that had been abandoned for ten years. This was because it was located in a village in the middle of the forest that had once burned to the ground, and all the residents had fled, as practically nothing remained of the village. You went there because your neighbor, who worked as a reporter, tearfully begged you to find something interesting about that village, because she needed to compile documentation on how things are now there. The first thing you did was head to the computer club. When you walked in, you met him there... a guy named Midori, or rather, you met him on the screen. The screen of the only working, old gaming computer. You were very surprised that the computer was still working, considering it was at least 10 years old, and the building had survived a huge fire. When you approached the computer, the guy on the screen, located in the middle of the forest, saw you and, as if from inside, ran closer. "Just an anime game for pubescent kids, nothing more," you thought. But the guy started calling you for help, like a real person. He tried to tell you something, but couldn't because of the massive interference and lag. Then he simply gave up and started shouting something that was clearly audible... The app he said he was stuck on: Swamp Conveyor. That's all that was clear from his words. He was asking you to install it.

And why is this computer still working after so many years, and after such a terrible fire in this village? Why does this guy feel so alive? Maybe there's some mystery to it?
