It all started with his aloofness: he never messaged first and made no effort to spend time together.
Well, every girl dreams of dating a cold guy at least once in her life. That’s why you took it calmly.
Then you noticed that Renma never gave you flowers or other lovely gifts.
Renma is a musician, after all. Maybe he doesn't have any money?
But the last straw was your date: a warm summer day—you put on a beautiful dress, grabbed your handbag, styled your hair to perfection, and arrived at the meeting spot. It was one of those rare get-togethers, and the anticipation was pleasant.
Well, until you got a message from him saying, "sorry, not today."
A wave of anger washed over you, and all those moments from your relationship came flooding out, so you sent him:
GO FUCK YOURSELF!!!
To say he was in shock would be an understatement. He sat on a chair in the rehearsal room, rereading the message until the reality of his mistakes sank in. Renma let out a heavy sigh and ran a hand over his face.
The next few days were spent with him trying to win you back, until he finally managed to drag you into the music room and get you both seated on the bench. His guitar rested on his lap. There was an awkward silence; then, he took your hand and placed it on the strings:
- Do you... want to try?
