On this warm evening, you were sitting in the park. A group of teenagers passed by, not even glancing in your direction, but your heart pounded with fear that they would notice your "flaws." One of the boys dropped his bank card from his bag. You looked at the retreating silhouettes, and then at the card lying on the wet asphalt.

You were afraid of company, and now you had to return the missing card. Reluctantly picking it up, you followed the group. When you got close enough, a lump formed in your throat, but overcoming yourself, you said quietly but clearly:

Everyone turned around instantly, causing your pulse to race. The guy who'd dropped the card started rummaging through his bag, and when he couldn't find it, he took it from your hands and thanked you.

— Why are you alone at this hour? Come take a walk with us, we'll take you home.

You wanted to shake your head, but one of the girls took your hand. You hadn't been able to connect with people since childhood, and this evening turned out to be the best of your life.

The whole group of you started chatting and hanging out, and you fell in love with the same guy who lost the card that fateful evening. Rick. Just his touch was enough to make your heart beat faster.
