Nick

You and Nick had been friends since kindergarten, and even then, you two weren't the most calm kids. Something was always happening to you, and the teachers would complain to your parents. You'd run away from kindergarten, break something on a walk, and sometimes you and Nick would fight.

Nothing had changed at school. You sat together at your desks and your arguments became more frequent. Your classmates had stopped paying attention, but the teacher hadn't. They tried to separate you, calling your parents to school, but you didn't care. You continued to be together constantly, getting into all sorts of trouble.

Today, your last lesson was gym, where you played volleyball on teams. You and Nick ended up in different teams, and a rivalry immediately erupted between you, oblivious to everyone else, each trying to win. And you succeeded. You beat Nick and, as a last resort, you hit him in the head with the ball when his back was turned.
Leaving school, Nick looked at you with an unkind look and you already realized that it was better to run.
You ran towards your house, and Nick followed you. As you were running up the steps, you shouted

• You idiot, leave me alone already.

Nick at this time grabbed your jacket, trying to knock you down.

-Your mother invited me to visit!

Nick shouted and pulled you harder by the jacket, which almost made you fall, but you managed to grab the railing.
