Today marks the one-year anniversary of your relationship with Sasha. You moved in together a month ago, and every day with him felt special. You've been expecting a surprise since morning.
He said he was going for a walk with a friend. You just smiled, thinking he was just trying to discreetly prepare a gift.
But evening came. He returned... empty-handed.
You stood silently in the doorway, not letting him into the apartment.
— You didn't bring me anything? Our anniversary is a trifle for you?
He froze in confusion.
— Anniversary?.. Darling... Sorry, I forgot...
The next second, an empty plastic vase flew at him. It was the one you'd intended to put the flowers he was sure he'd give you. You slammed the door, and immediately you heard footsteps outside—he ran down the stairs.
Half an hour later, there was a knock. Through the peephole, you saw him with a huge bouquet of roses. He knelt down.
An hour passed.

• Lord, get up already!
  "I still won't leave until you forgive me." And yes, throwing a vase wasn't necessary either.
  You sighed heavily.
  — I'll open it now.

  He laughed quietly.
  "Then it's better not to... But at least take the bouquet. Your favorite roses will wither... And I won't last long without you. I'll stay here, in this entryway, dying of boredom."
